Lesley Morrison is a retired teacher who spent all of her teaching career in Lambeth, She was Headteacher at a Lambeth secondary for 17 years having previously been a deputy for eight years. During her tenure at the school, the school became one of the highest attaining schools in the Lambeth and was judged Ofsted 'Outstanding' on two occasions.
In 2011 Lesley was awarded a CBS for her contribution to National and local education, having sat on various Government working parties, which investigated achievement issues facing minority ethnic groups and in particular those relating to students of Caribbean heritage. She was also one of the first cohorts to be presented with The Chartered Urban Leaders award.
Lesley is still fully committed to making a contribution to schools in vibrant, multi-ethnic and multi-cultural area's and is delighted to be appointed as a Director of the Multi Academy Trust and a governor at the University Academy of Engineering South Bank.
